mise en scéne

Location:

A downtrodden field will be used for the detective scene and some clips of the criminal scene. The barren landscape will hopefully make for some good locational shots of the area and create a desolate mood. As we plan to film in late january to february, we are hoping that there will be overcast to add to the mise en scene.

A garage will be used for the victim scene, the garage will be a dark poorly lit room to create some effective shadows and add to the effect. This locational will only appear in a few flashbacks involving the criminals and their victim.

Props:

Camera to be used in close up shot.

Fake gun for the ending of scene two.

Fake blood for corpse.

Two knives, one for each criminal.

Duct tape to restrain victim.

Large Sheet to wrap victims body in.

Car, so the criminals can place the corpse in the boot
